This beer was brewed at my cousins house on Beidler Road in King of Prussia, PA where I was living at the time. I brewed with my cousins neighbor Steve, who grows his own Cascade hops which we used in the recipe.
ABV: ≈ 6-7%
Hops: ≈ 1.00 oz Cascade (Whole leaf), 2.25 oz Simcoe (Pellet)
Inspired by Stone’s legendary Pale Ale, Fran’s Pale Ale features two varieties of homegrown hops - Chinook and Cascade as well as Belgian yeast strain for a hint of funkiness. Stone relased their recipe for their original pale ale. I followed that, tweaking hops and yeast.
